Frequently asked questions
Procedural questions about the compounds, the documentation, investigator accounts, and dispatch.
About the compounds
What does 'Research Use Only' mean?
Every Verified Compounds compound is sold as Research Use Only (RUO). The vials are manufactured, tested, and distributed exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research by qualified investigators. They are not supplements, not medications, and not consumer products.
Who can purchase from Verified Compounds?
Verified investigators, research institutions, contract laboratories, and educational facilities. A one-time research profile is reviewed by compliance before the first dispatch.
What is a peptide?
A peptide is a short polymer of amino acids joined by amide bonds. The compounds in this catalog are characterized by their amino acid sequence, molecular weight, and molecular formula, each reported on the product page.
What documentation accompanies each compound?
Each product page shows the current documentation status. Released lots can include lot-specific Certificate of Analysis documentation; pending lots are labeled pending before checkout. Primary-literature citation context is maintained per SKU. Safety Data Sheets are available on request.
Are the compounds third-party tested?
Released-lot analytical documentation is published only when the corresponding records exist. Products without released documentation remain marked as pending rather than showing generic analytical claims.
How is the catalog organized?
By chemistry class — growth-hormone-releasing peptides, ghrelin-receptor agonist peptides, glucagon-family analogs, body protection compound family, thymic-origin peptides, melanocortin analogs, Khavinson short-peptide bioregulators, and so on. The catalog is not organized by suggested use.
Investigator accounts
Why is an account required?
Verified Compounds sells reagents to verified investigators. Accounts attach the investigator attestation to each order and keep order documentation tied to the account record. Registration takes under a minute.
Is account creation free?
Yes. There is no subscription and no fee for an account. Payment is collected only when an order is placed.
What is the research profile?
A one-time form completed before the first purchase. It captures the research entity, the investigator, and the in-vitro context. Compliance reviews each profile before first dispatch.
What does a verified principal-investigator account add?
Verified PI accounts can qualify for institutional purchase-order checkout, Net-30 terms, and ACH payment above the configured threshold when those workflows are enabled.
Orders and dispatch
What payment methods are accepted?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, debit cards bearing a major-card logo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH / bank transfer above the configured threshold, and institutional purchase orders with Net-30 terms on verified PI accounts. All transactions are encrypted in transit.
How long does dispatch take?
Domestic standard shipping arrives in 3–5 business days. Expedited options (1–2 business days) are available at checkout. Orders confirmed before 12:00 PM Pacific on a business day are dispatched the same day.
Do you ship internationally?
Distribution is limited to the fifty United States. International shipping is not available, and card transactions are not accepted for international addresses.
How is an order tracked?
A carrier-issued tracking number is emailed once the order is dispatched. Order status and any released-lot documentation are accessible from the account dashboard when the order reader is enabled.
How should lyophilized peptides be stored?
Unreconstituted lyophilized vials are stable at room temperature in transit. On receipt, store in a cool, dry location away from direct light. For long-term storage of the unreconstituted powder, refrigeration at 2–8 °C is acceptable; freezing at −20 °C is preferred. Reconstituted solutions are stored at 2–8 °C and used within the stability window referenced in the peer-reviewed literature for the specific sequence.
What is the refund policy?
Reagents are not eligible for return. All sales are final. If a vial arrives damaged in transit, missing, or incorrect, contact hello@peptides.vc within 48 hours of delivery with the order number and photographs for a verified replacement.
Are recurring or bulk orders supported?
Yes. The Research Supply Program supports scheduled deliveries and volume-based pricing for laboratories with continuing reagent requirements. Contact support to discuss.
How is support contacted?
Email hello@peptides.vc. Replies arrive within one business day.
Still have questions?
A question not answered here?
Support is staffed by people who handle the reagents.
